Mary Lou's Nest

I am my Mother's Daughter....  She and I looked at the birds in her yard many times when I visited.

Last summer she told me she was convinced there was  a hummingbird nest in one of the front trees but we could never see it.
My Mom passed away on Saturday afternoon. I returned to her home shortly after her passing and heard the flitting of an Anna's nearby. I found the nest just starting to be built in that same front tree...but my Mom is not here to see it with me.
I hope some of you enjoy the photos  I have taken in honor of my Mom. I love you Mom and I miss you more than you will ever know...
